Second Thoughts ~ End It NOW

Human trafficking is always human suffering.

Greetings Dear Reader,

This will be brief. We need to remember that there is still slavery in our world. Both adults and children are trafficked in staggering numbers throughout the world. We need to raise our voices and demand an end to it.

Whether it is slave labor, sex trafficking, or domestic servitude, we have all encountered the victims of this horror. What would you pay to set a human free? These types of trade would not exist if we did not provide the market for them. When we indulge in the benefits of the money harvested by those who traffic humans, we create a demand. It is not just sex workers. It is underpaid, unbenefited service staff. It is buying items from countries where human rights are ignored.

If we are going to be faithful followers of Christ, we must raise our voices so that the demand is diminished. We must vote with our dollars not to purchase any product that is a result of human rights violations. We know what these things are. We have to shine a light on it and end it. The END IT movement exists to shine a light on slavery. We too must join them in ending this human horror.

Wishing you joy in the journey,
